NEWE is the culmination of Northeast Sports, LTD and the creative entrepreneurial minds of Jessica and Dan Corrigan. After working closely with Paul & Sue Mang (part owners of Northeast Sports, LTD) for ten years Dan Corrigan grew  to know the business intimately. When the time came to hand off  the business, the Mang’s approached the Corrigan’s who were thrilled at the opportunity to continue the legacy of  quality wilderness adventures.

 

The Corrigan’s relocated the business to Beach Lake and changed the name of Northeast Sports, LTD to Northeast Wilderness Experience or NEWE. In order to keep the feel of the business the same they kept on their chief  adventurer expert Paul Mang.  Among our instructors are trained  E.M.Ts, Paramedics and First Responders and one or the other is on each trip.

 

NEWE’s goal with all trips is to teach people about the outdoors and give children the learning tools necessary to make decisions on their own, work in group dynamics and empower them with knowledge of  the outdoors and environmental preservation. NEWE is committed to the leave no trace ethics for all of their outdoor experiences.
